When deciding on where to record you must take into consideration several things.
Keeping in mind that expanded studios require higher rates, you must decide which studio is properly equiped to meet
your needs. Furthermore, realize that you get what you pay for. Fully proffessional studios could take millions
of dollars to build and rates could easily be in the thousands. However, with today's newest technologies it is possible
to find a nearly indistinguishable sound from those high priced studios for much less money! The trick is to match the
direction you're looking to go in with the direction that a local studio is designed for. For example, Unrestrained
Studios is equiped primarily for rock bands and solo artists, however it can offer more if necessary. One thing to keep
in mind is that a project studio is best equiped for certain settings, and built around that type of "project" in order to
lower cost and maintain effeciency. For this reason, while it is possible to record such things as choirs, orchestral
music, and/or commercial jingles, it is more appropriate and may be more suitable to find a full studio
in those cases. Unrestrained Studios does offer a decent sound for a very low cost, however it can't offer every
everything that a full studio can. Being that Unrestrained Studios is merely a project studio, and therefore limited, it is important that you listen
to the examples on this page and determine whether or not we can properly accomodate your needs.
