Rigging up the Guitar Rig: The guitar is connected via a standard guitar cable to the line input on the Rig Kontrol footcontroller. 2 standard line outs on the Rig Kontrol connect to the line ins of your audio interface (soundcard) via standard guitar cables as well. There's no USB, MIDI, or FireWire connection necessary! Guitar Rig integrates 4 tube amplifier emulations, which were developed through detail-exact analysis of popular models. In addition there are more than 20 outstanding sounding effects, including emulations of well-known vintage pedals and modern effects like delay, reverb, and EQs. Guitar Rig also includes an extensive "Cabinets and Mics" module with 14 speaker types and 5 microphone types, each with 4 different positions.
